As summer draws to a close, the masses return to their lives in the city's and interior of the UK, a small collective of dedicated people still work on to keep all ocean folk safe, whether people venture out on to the ocean for pleasure or profit we will always have the RNLI keeping a close eye on us all. All RNLI staff are trained to the highest standard and are the envy of the world, and being a charitable organisation they always need our support.

Well the surf did show up as forecast, Friday saw a building swell with some good chest high waves to be found, Saturday saw glassy head high plus waves as did Sunday with some spots reported to be well overhead.

On Sunday I surfed Saunton at first light for about an hour on my Quad, I enjoyed some really good fast rides on waves that were regularly well overhead, then as tiredness set in I decided to nip round to Putsborough for another couple of hours, the waves were smaller and the paddle out kinder.

Recently we had some good weather, so we headed off to the Beach for some fun

For starters, I like to surf, and I have many friends who also like to surf, and I must say they are all better than me.

My Boards

I have two Boards one Long and one short

My Longboard, a traditional 9'6" longboard shape with resin tint and triple stringers goes well in 1-3 ft surf.

My Quad, a hybrid fish with four fins and wide template, 6'6" x 21.1/2" x 2.5/8" fast and fun.
